Pursuant to K.S.A. 8-1103, the towing of motor vehicles, watercraft and trailers from private property is hereby authorized if done in accordance with all the requirements of such statute.

The maximum rate that may be charged for wrecker or towing done under this Article shall be $500  and the maximum per diem rate for storage of any vehicle, watercraft or trailer towed under this Article shall be $100.

The owner of a vehicle, watercraft or trailer towed under this Article shall have access to personal property in such vehicle, watercraft or trailer for 48 hours after such vehicle, watercraft or trailer has been towed and such persona property shall be released to the owner.

A wrecker or towing service that tows a vehicle, watercraft or trailer under this Article shall report the location of the same to the Park City Police Department within 2 hours of such tow.
